WHO + WHAT

The Architecture Young Alumni Council was founded in 2011 by a group of, you guessed it, young alums from the A-School. Our mission is to be a resource in our regions for young alums; strengthen ties of young alums to each other, the School, and within the professional community; and provide networking and social opportunities in our regions.

Some events/activities we've done in the past include:
- Extern week happy hour
- Calling and connecting with prospective/accepted grad students
- Mentoring new grads moving into our regions and cities
- Social outings
- Monthly happy hours
- Attending local lectures, exhibitions, etc
- Supporting each other's events and activities locally
- Service days

WHAT EXACTLY IS A "YOUNG ALUMNA/US?"

We define a young alum as someone who has graduated within the last ten years, from undergrad or grad school.
